Kickball Tournament Rules
- Can sign up as a team, group, or solo (we will make teams at random for groups of less than 10 and solos)
- 10 people on the field at all times… (at a minimum 6 people)
- Sign up by May 10th… Bracket posted by May 13th
- Single Elimination tournament (depending on team amounts.. will send out bracket before gameday)
Gameplay Rules
Core Rules & Gameplay
- Pitching: The pitcher must roll the ball on the ground towards home plate. The ball must not bounce excessively above the knee.
- Kicking: All kicks must be made by foot, at or behind home plate. Bunting is generally not allowed or results in an out.
- Strikes/Fouls: Typically, three strikes or three fouls equal an out. A strike is a missed kick or a pitch in the strike zone not kicked.
- Fouls: A kick that lands out of bounds or lands in-bounds but goes out before passing 1st or 3rd base.
- Outs: Three outs per inning end a team's turn at bat. Outs occur by:
- Catching a fly ball before it touches the ground.
- Tagging a runner with the ball while they are off base.
- Forcing a runner out by tagging the base before they arrive.
- Throwing the ball below the shoulders to hit a runner.(adults cant throw at youth)
- Running: No leading off or stealing bases; runners may only leave the base after the ball is kicked
